It's been a long, bloody while.

Good afternoon to the DA community. At least, to all those who still "watch" me and my work. My writing has been a bit sparse of late, although I'm trying to pick it back up. This isn't to say I've been uninspired, or I haven't been writing; I have. I've been on a binge, actually, of writing, and it's been dedicated to finishing a book I have had in my head for a while now. In January, I had the good fortune of finishing it, although it was in its roughest form. Today, I am happy (and proud) to say I have finished proofing it, and editing it, and it is in the cleanest form I can make it.

My current projects include: Getting gainfully employed while continuing my schooling (Senior. 19 hours remain until I am a graduate), writing the next book on my plate titled "i, pawn dreamer, stare," making a life for myself while pushing away from my family, and possibly moving to Oregon by this time next year.

My interests have not changed much; I am still who I was. Only, I believe, a bit more spiritual, and a bit more open to the world as I see it. (Heh. "As I see it." How closed-minded. hahaha)

Last night, I had a short dream; I was walking, Bethany spoke my name, and I woke from the dream with the visual of blood-red rose petals exploding from my side like blood from a bullet. It was so very, very short. And so very, very beautiful.

I promise to be more active on here. I promise. :)

Hey hey... your tagging brought me out of my devart journal hibernation, you should be proud! I don't know why I've been so absent recently... I've been busy, but no more than usual. I'm sure I'll go through another OD phase soon (probably when I'm meant to be studying for my exams...)

Anyway, how have you been? Writing 12 books at once?!? I admire your, uh...prolific-ness? prolificity? Maybe this is why I haven't been posting much of anything, my brain is turning to mush. Oh dear.

I'm enjoying photography more and more, though. :)

Zdzisław Beksiński is an outstanding artist. I especially favor his drawings, they are magnificent. I do not know the names of any of his works due to window size issues, but names do not matter. In the words of Shakespeare, "A rose by any other name would still smell as sweet..." Though that is a hackneyed phrase, it still fits the situation well. I just figured I would tell you that your favorite artist was a good choice.
